The renowned novelist will discuss her latest book in conversation with Dr John Kittmer. Though fictional, the book was inspired by what happened after Sofka’s father died in 2021, when his widow did not allow Sofka or her siblings to attend his funeral. There are many Greeks and half-Greeks in the story, which takes place mainly in London.
