2026 Anglo-Hellenic League Runciman Award launches

We are pleased to announce the call to publishers for nominations for the Anglo-Hellenic League Runciman Award 2026. Publishers are invited to make up to seven nominations each for books that fall within the specifications and criteria of the award. Sofka Zinovieff will again chair the panel of judges for the 2026 Award. She will joined on the panel by Prof. Esther Eidinow, Prof. Vassiliki Kolocotroni, Prof. Ingela Nilsson, and Dr. Oliver Thomas, all of whom are distinguished experts in Greek literature, history and culture.

Nominations are open until close of business on Monday 15 December 2025. The judges expect to draw up and publish their long list early in January 2025. A short list will be announced in April. The winner will be revealed at an Award Ceremony at King’s College London on Tuesday 9 June 2026.
