Vassili Apostopoulos is the CEO of Athens Medical Group, the leading healthcare services group in Greece and Southeastern Europe, the CEO of G. Apostolopoulos Holdings SA and the Honorary Consul of Monaco in Greece. He was born and raised in Athens. He received a BSc in Management from LSE, an MBA from Cambridge University and a PhD in Health Economics from the University of Athens.

Dr. Apostolopoulos is the Honorary President and member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Entrepreneurs Association (EENE) and member of the General Council of the Hellenic Federation of Industries (SEV). He served as a member of the Advisory board of the Hellenic Observatory at LSE and the Centre for International Business and Management (CIBAM) of Cambridge University. He is a member of the Advisory Board of University of Athens MBA, Vice President of the Board of Directors of “Athens Club”, the most historic private club in Greece and member of Chatham House and other organizations and bodies. For his humanitarian and entrepreneurial work, he has received a number of awards and distinctions, including the "Lifetime Achievement Award" of the British Council, given for the first time to a Greek in 2020, and the Innovative “Entrepreneur of the Year” Award by EY in 2022.
